Good usage habits can greatly extend battery life and reduce potential risks.
Use the original charger: Never mix chargers for lithium batteries and lead-acid batteries. Always use the original charger provided with your device when charging. Whenever possible, choose charging equipment with an automatic power-off function to avoid overcharging, which can damage the battery.
Choose the right charging time: It is recommended to charge the battery when the dashboard shows 1-2 bars of remaining power (about 20%-30%). Do not wait until the battery is completely dead (undervoltage) to charge it. After riding, it is best to let the battery cool down for 30 minutes before charging, as heat can affect charging efficiency and battery lifespan.
Pay attention to the charging environment: Charging indoors, in stairwells, or at emergency exits is strictly prohibited. Avoid charging in environments with high temperature, direct sunlight, rain, or humidity. Keep the charger in a well-ventilated area to ensure proper heat dissipation, and do not cover it with clothes, cushions, or other items.
Ride responsibly: Avoid sudden acceleration, frequent climbing, or overloading. These behaviors will cause the battery to discharge at a high current, which not only consumes power quickly but also shortens the battery’s service life over time.
